The Institute Innovation Council (IIC) at an IT & Management college fosters a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation. It encourages students to come up with creative solutions to business and technological challenges, often through activities like idea-generation workshops, business plan competitions, start-ups incubation programs, and mentorship sessions. The IIC serves as a platform for students to develop innovative ideas, work on real-world projects, and launch their own start-ups, promoting a spirit of innovation and enterprise within the institution. These activities are crucial for preparing students to excel in the dynamic and fast-paced fields of IT and management by blending academic knowledge with practical experience, innovation, and holistic personal development.
The Institution Innovation Cell (IIC) is an initiative designed to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within our institution. The cell aims to create an ecosystem that encourages creativity, innovation, and start-up spirit among students, faculty, and staff. Mr D Ram Kumar,(Director, VGI) president of the cell, Mr Gyana Ranjan Mishra is the Convener, Mr Kumar Manthan Sahu is the social media In-charge, Mrs Pragnya Paramita Jena is the Innovation Activity In-charge, Mrs Pujarani Nayak is the Internship Activity Coordinator, Mrs Jyoti Panda is the IPR Activity Coordinator and Mrs Madhu Chhanda Panda is the Start-up Activity Coordinator along with experts from the industry along with various Student Members present in it.
Entrepreneurship is the process of creating, developing, and managing a new business venture to meet market needs while assuming financial risks. It involves innovation, problem-solving, and strategic thinking to bring unique products or services to the market. Entrepreneurs drive economic growth, generate employment, and foster innovation. Through creativity, resilience, and leadership, they turn ideas into profitable enterprises, contributing to society by addressing gaps and advancing industries. The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) of our institution plays a key role in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. It encourages aspiring entrepreneurs by providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities to develop their business ideas. The E-Cell organizes workshops, competitions, and networking events to nurture creativity, problem-solving, and leadership skills. By connecting students with industry experts, investors, and successful entrepreneurs, the E-Cell empowers them to turn their innovative ideas into viable start-ups, driving both personal and economic growth.
